Hello and welcome to the ZO’S FUND FOR LIFE website. As you navigate through this site I hope that you gain hope, inspiration, and education to allow you to fight Glomerular Disease and join my team as a fighter and a survivor.

Education is freedom and with this site it is my goal to help educate patients, friends and family members of patients on the disease, how to live with the disease and the choices that we have in order to not allow the disease to dictate our life.

By searching through the site you should be able to get many of your questions answered. I believe that it is imperative to answer all of your questions to put all efforts towards fighting the disease. When I was diagnosed with the Focal Glomerulosclerosis, I did not think to feel sorry for myself as I understood that there were so many others in the world with worse problems than mine. I had to direct all of my energy into focusing on my health, my family and making sure that I was going to be around for them and to help others who are faced with the same disease. I surrounded myself with great doctors and had the support of my family and friends. I feel as though with a positive outlook and tremendous amount of determination I successfully lived with the disease as long as my body would allow and now I am successfully living with my new kidney.

My mission is to positively inspire everyone who visits this website to continue to fight the battle of kidney disease. It doesn’t matter if you are fighting for yourself, a family member or a friend – we all need to continue to educate ourselves, make healthy choices and follow the directions of our doctors so that in the end we can all be on the winning team.
